Hai Ramadan 2025 | Expo City Dubai
Al Wasl Plaza | Expo City Dubai
Hai Ramadan 2025 returned to Expo City Dubai for its largest and most successful edition yet, welcoming more than 50,000 visitors throughout the holy month. Set beneath the iconic Al Wasl Dome, the month-long celebration brought together faith, culture and community through immersive experiences, traditional entertainment and exceptional dining.
As Expo City Dubai's trusted Food & Beverage partner, TGP Catering & Hospitality led the planning and delivery of the event's hospitality programme.
Curating the Ramadan dining experience
At the heart of the event was Iftar Under the Dome — a signature communal dining experience curated and delivered by TGP. Each evening, up to 1,000 guests gathered beneath the illuminated Al Wasl Dome to break their fast in a truly unique setting, surrounded by immersive projections and the evening call to prayer.
Led by Chef Meera Al Naqbi and Chef Michel Nassar, the menu celebrated the flavours of the region while introducing contemporary culinary touches. Alongside the public Iftar, TGP also delivered 93 private and corporate Iftar bookings for government entities and leading organisations, including MBC and TikTok, while evening Suhoor experiences offered guests premium mezze, grilled specialties and attentive table service.
A diverse food and beverage destination
Beyond the Dome, TGP curated a varied hospitality offering designed to appeal to families, residents and international visitors alike. Guests explored an outdoor food market featuring more than 20 food kiosks and carts, showcasing a mix of international favourites and authentic regional cuisine.
TGP's own branded activations — including the Cheesy Pasta Wheel Station, Luqaimat Cart and Dolma Station — became popular attractions throughout the month, while the event's interactive Floos token system added a fun, family-friendly element to the dining experience.
Delivering hospitality at scale
Throughout the month-long event, TGP successfully managed high visitor volumes while maintaining exceptional food quality and service standards. Despite weekend attendance exceeding 5,000 visitors, the hospitality programme operated seamlessly through careful planning, coordinated service and efficient venue operations.
