The Red Sea International Film Festival is one of the region's leading cultural events, bringing together filmmakers, talent, industry leaders and international guests for a celebration of cinema in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
TGP International supported the festival's Food & Beverage operations, delivering hospitality experiences across a complex, high-profile event environment. Our involvement brought together catering, operational planning and guest experience to ensure F&B complemented the premium nature of the festival and its diverse programme of events. The catering experience
Our approach focused on creating tailored dining experiences for the festival's different audiences and occasions. This included hospitality catering suitable for VIPs and talent, event receptions, gala-style dining and wider event catering, with service formats adapted to the requirements of each setting. The approach reflected the range of formats outlined for RSIFF, from plated dining and hospitality lounges to more accessible event service.
Menus celebrated both local and international influences, with an emphasis on Saudi and seasonal produce, while accommodating a broad range of dietary requirements. Halal menus and options for vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and nut-free requirements formed part of TGP's approach to creating an inclusive dining experience for an international festival audience.
The beverage experience was designed around the festival's alcohol-free environment, with premium mocktails, juices, specialty coffee and traditional Saudi coffee providing opportunities to create memorable hospitality moments throughout the event.
Operational delivery
Behind the guest experience, TGP brought together the operational elements required to deliver F&B within a major live event environment. This included front and back-of-house coordination, catering logistics, service planning, staffing and food safety, supported by structured processes designed for busy hospitality and event spaces.
Sustainability was also incorporated into the F&B approach through measures including locally and seasonally sourced produce, food-waste reduction, recyclable or compostable materials and the reduction of single-use plastics.
Through a combination of culinary creativity, hospitality and operational expertise, TGP helped create an F&B experience suited to the prestige and international character of the Red Sea International Film Festival.
